Yelawolf Announces New Single, "Daylight"

Yelawolf has remained relatively quiet since last year's Love Story. Seemingly disappointed with the critical response to the record, the Alabama rapper dove back into the studio to begin work on his third album, Trial By Fire.

With a tour in support of the album kicking off next month, it only makes sense that the Shady Records emcee would gear up to release new music beforehand. Moments ago, Yela revealed a teaser to what appears to be the album's first single, "Daylight", set to be released next Friday:

The single echoes some of the deeper cuts from Love Story, bearing a similar dark and gritty sound, while stripping things down with a more acoustic, country feel. While no date for the album has been announced just yet, Yelawolf's "Trail by Fire Tour" kicks off October 13th and features the likes of Struggle Jennings, Bubba Sparxxx, and Jelly Roll as opening acts.
