Vanilla Ice Set To Play Mark Twain in Adam Sandler's 'Ridiculous 6'
"Alright stop, collaborate and....Mark Twain?"
Yes, you read that correctly. Next month, comedy legend Adam Sandler is gearing up to begin production on his new film, The Ridiculous 6. The film will serve as the first of four pictures in his deal with Netflix to produce original films for them. Among the actors cast in the Western Comedy are people who have previously worked with Sandler such as fellow SNL alumni Rob Schneider, Jon Lovitz, Dan Akroyd, along with Hollywood hunks Terry Crews and Taylor Lautner...and of course Steve Buscemi, making it the 8th time the two will appear on screen together.
Aside from these returning players, the film will also feature first time Sandler collaborators Will Forte, Chris Parnell, Lavell Crawford, Whiteny Cummings, Steve Zahn, Machete's Danny Trejo, and Luke Wilson, who will play one of Sandler's 4 half-brothers alongside Schneider, Crews and Lautner.
If that wasn't enough, the film also marks the acting debut of The Voice judge Blake Shelton, who will play the role of notorious gambler and gunman, Wyatt Earp.
As of now, there has been no word of the exact release date but one can only assume it should probably be released sometime within the next year.
