Snoop Dogg Previews Music From New Album, "Coolaid"


Snoop Dogg is hard at work putting the finishing touches to his upcoming studio album, Coolaid, which is set for release on July 1st. While in the studio last night, the Doggfather decided to share a couple of snippets of his new music with fans via Facebook. While the first song appears to be an ode to the Crip lifestyle, the latter ("What If" featuring Suga Free) contemplates what the world would be like without gang violence ("What if the bloods and the crips was the same, then all n*ggas join one gang").

Aside from Suga Free, other guests on Coolaid include Nipsey Hussle, Jeremih, and Wiz Khalifa, who is featured on the album's first single, "Kush Ups". Production will come from Swizz Beatz, Bongo, KJ Conteh, and Just Blaze, who was seen cooking up what sounds like massive heat in the studio with Snoop earlier this year:
