Since its incarnation in 2013, Montreal's MURAL Festival has steadily taken over as the city's hub for elevated street art. Each year, thousands flock to Le Plateau for the celebration, which includes street vendors, art exhibitions, and of course, live murals being painted.

Parallel to the esteem of the festival's art savviness are the killer lineups for MURAL's block parties. Located in a parking lot next to their St. Laurent office space, the festivities have attracted the likes of Schoolboy Q, Jazz Cartier, and A-Trak for free shows for all to enjoy.

Headlining this year's Fido-sponsored opening concert are two of hip-hop's most buzzed about over the past few weeks. Next Thursday, Playboi Carti and Pusha T will join forces in what it sure to be a rager of an evening.

A-Trak will also return to host his fourth-annual Fool's Gold Day Off homecoming event on June 9th. Its lineup is expected to release within the next couple of days. EDM Festival IleSoniq will also host a block party on June 16th.
