Osheaga Adds 10 Additional Acts to Lineup

Many fans of Montreal's Osheaga Music and Arts Festival noticed that this year's lineup seemed a bit smaller than usual. However, this was due to the poster claiming that there were in fact "More to come", something the festival has not done since a second wave of artists being announced in 2013. Today, Osheaga stayed true to their word, announcing 10 new acts to its already exciting lineup:

It is understandable that Death Cab for Cutie were only just announced, as the band just had a show at Montreal's Bell Centre this past weekend, also organized by Evenko (Osheaga promoters). The additions also sees the return Osheaga alumnus Coeur de Pirate and Baauer, who notoriously brought out special guest Just Blaze to help perform their then-current single, "Higher".

This brings the total number of acts performing at Osheaga to 115. An updated poster reveals there is even more to come, keeping rumours of Big Grams (Big Boi and Phantogram's experimental trio) and long shots LCD Soundsystem and Kanye West alive. Some have noted that local acts Dead Obies and Safia Nolin also appear on Osheaga's website as part of the lineup, but not on the updated poster.
