Musicians React to Death of Lemmy Kilmisiter

Only two days after discovering he had obtained an "extremely aggressive cancer" comes the news of an unfortunate passing, the death of Motörhead's heart and soul, Lemmy Kilmister. The news came earlier today via a post by the band's official Facebook page. Born Ian Fraser Kilmister, Lemmy was well known for his gritty vocals, booming bass abilities, signature mutton chops, cavalry hat and of course, his lovable yet often turbulent behavior. Like many Rockstars both before and after him, Kilmister had detrimental issues with drugs and alcohol, as detailed in his best-selling memoir, White Line Fever.

Upon the news of Lemmy's death breaking, many musicians (predominantly friends, fans, and a surprisingly high amount of EDM stars) took to social media to express their condolences and share memories involving the late, great Kilmister:

Having celebrated his 70th birthday only four days ago, it is clear to say that this vibrant soul is gone too soon. RIP Lemmy.
