Montreal-bred talent Laye makes her official debut today with "Goldfinger" The single is a melodramatic anthem for all those who have gone  through heartbreak.

""Goldfinger" is a song I'm really excited to put out.", explains Laye.  "For me, it's really about taking a confident, self-assured stance on relationships that have gone bad. It's about telling those that have hurt you and lead you on off - but also letting them know you're over it."

The song is produced by Lauren Christy and Federico Vindver. The two have been a part of some of past decade's most notable pop projects. While Christy scored songwriting credits on both G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I" and Enrique Iglesias' "Tonight (I'm F***in' You)", Vindver has enjoyed success on the Latin circuit with the likes of Pitbull, Wisin & Yandel, and Jennifer Lopez.

Laye is set to release her debut studio album in 2019. "Goldfinger" is the first official taste for what listeners can expect, though April's "likefck" offered an equally satisfying sneak peak.
