G-Eazy to Appear on YG's "F.D.T." Remix
YG's critically acclaimed Still Brazy is now a little over a month old and the track that seems to be turning the most heads is "F.D.T." otherwise known as "Fuck Donald Trump". The Nipsey Hussle-featured rebellious anthem takes cues from West Coast classic before it such as N.W.A.'s "Fuck The Police" and even a hint of Public Enemy's "Fight The Power", all carefully blended with the duo's up-to-date, quintessential L.A. flows to create the perfect anthem against the now official Republican nominee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkZ5e94QnWk
Since the song's release, YG has embarked on an area, continent-wide tour dubbed "The Endless Summer Tour" alongside the likes of G-Eazy, Logic, and Yo Gotti. At a show in YG's hometown of Los Angeles, G-Eazy, an open Bernie Sanders supporter/Trump hater, brought the hometown hero for an exclusive performance of "F.D.T.", this time featuring an all-new verse from Gerald himself:
While it initially seemed as if this verse was a one-off ordeal for the show (simply a freestyle or something along those lines), G-Eazy has now confirmed that the version performed will soon be released in high quality as the official remix to the song:
Following a controversial speech made by Melania Trump, the nominee's wife, yesterday at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio (in which many believe the potential First Lady blatantly plagiarised a 2008 speech by Michelle Obama at the Democratic Nation Convention), Snoop Dogg (who participated in the roast of Donald in 2011) lashed out against the candidate and his wife, leading many to believe that the rapper may also be on the upcoming remix:
While we aren't certain as to all of the names that shall appear on the remix, we just hope people will be screaming "Fuck Donald Trump" at the voting booths this November!
