Fool's Gold Co-Founder Dust La Rock Passes Away


Today, we are met with the death of an iconic New York artist. Earlier today, Fool's Gold Records co-founder Joshua Prince, better known by his professional name Dust La Rock, passed away. Screen Shot 2015-02-02 at 9.36.48 PM

Aside from founding the now iconic Brooklyn-based record label alongside A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs, Prince was also handled the position as art director of the label from its foundation in 2007 up until 2012. In his time with the label, he designed many of its classic album art, including Danny Brown's XXX and Duck Sauce's Quack. Many member's of Fool's Gold's friends and family sent payed their respect to Dust via social media:
