Dreamville Fan Attempts Attack on Trump

Cole World indeed...Today at a Donald Trump rally in Dayton, Ohio, a young man attempted to assault the Republican businessman while he was delivering a speech. However, security got to the man before he could get close enough to Trump and was effectively escorted away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06d4t1704N8

In another video of the man being ejected from the rally (with pours of "boos" from the crowd), he can be seen sporting a Dreamville t-shirt, the record label of none other than South Carolina emcee, J. Cole.

In other Dreamville-based political news, J. Cole was a special guest during President Obama's keynote speech at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas. Cole delivered a brief performance after Obama's address, in which he claimed to "love" the rapper:

While J. Cole isn't perhaps the most politically charged rapper, he's definitely had his moments, including being in Ferguson, Missouri during the Michael Brown protests to pay his respects, and his polarizing coinciding song, "Be Free":
