Blink-182 Hit the Studio With Steve Aoki


Blink-182 are finally finished their long anticipated, Tom Delonge-less seventh studio album, as confirmed by drummer Travis Barker in a recent interview with Punk Videos Rock. Despite the album's completion, it does not seem like the band have any plans to slow down on recording any time soon. Earlier today, Steve Aoki posted a photo of himself in the studio alongside Barker, Mark Hoppus and producer John Feldmann, who serves as the executive producer on the upcoming Blink record:

The #NeonFutureIII hashtag insinuates that said work will appear on Aoki's upcoming fourth studio album. The Dim Mak DJ released Neon Future parts I&II in September 2014 and May 2015, respectively. While this would be the first Hoppus-Aoki collab, Travis and Steve have previously worked together a number of times, including a remix of Barker and Yelawolf's "Push Em", along with two songs on Aoki's debut album, the Kid Cudi-assisted "Cudi the Kid" and bonus track, "Misfits":
