Blake Griffin is a man of many hats: Basketball superstar, philanthropist, and now...stand-up comedian? In a press release from Just For Laughs, the world's largest comedy festival, it was revealed that the Clippers' team captain will host 5 nights of the Montreal fest's Midnight Surprise series from July 26th to 30th. The series will be held at Theatre St-Catherine. Located in the heart of the city's Quartier des Spectacles, ~100-person venue will give fans the opportunity to see Griffin in an intimate environment, all while soaking in laughs from an unannounced lineup of comedians performing at the festival. Past surprises have included sets from the likes of Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K., and Todd Glass, who hosted last year's series.

This is not the NBA player's first time dabbling with comedy. In 2014, Griffin performed onstage at an open-mic event at Hollywood's Laugh Factory, and has since gone on to appear on Broad City, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and various Funny or Die sketches, including a hilarious live-read of Space Jam, in which he performs as Michael Jordan:
