2 Films Featuring Adam Sandler Set to Premiere at TIFF
Adam Sandler fans, rejoice! With yesterday's announcement of the first wave of films for this year's Toronto International Film Festival, it is without question that the Sandman has a lot cooking this year. After starring in the romantic-comedy "Blended" alongside Drew Barrymore, it seems as if the funny-man may be gearing up for a few more serious roles.
Out of the films listed in TIFF's big announcement, not one but TWO titles feature Sandler. The first film is directed by none other than Jason Reitman and is titled "Men, Women and Children". The film is based on a book baring the same name written by Chad Kultgen and will also star Jennifer Garner, along with Emma Thompson.
The second TIFF feature he will be featured in is "Top Five". The film stars none other than Chris Rock, who also wrote and directed the project. Aside from Sandler, the film features an all-star cast which includes Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, Rosario Dawson and Gabrielle Union among others.
Aside from these films, the Happy Madison head also has a film coming out with Method Man and Dustin Hoffman (yes, you read that correctly) called "The Cobbler", as well as a sequel to "Hotel Transylvania" (which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012), along with a feature-length adaption of the short film "Pixels".
