Travis Scott Fans Are Angry After Rapper Performs Only 4 Songs

Travis Scott’s Montreal fans are not pleased tonight after attending what was initially perceived as a full concert from the rapper, only to have Scott perform all but four of his tracks, for a set that totalled up to about 20 minutes by the time it was completed. The concert was held at premiere club New City Gas, a venue known primarily for EDM concerts, although they have began to include rappers in recent years.

The event was part of New City’s Lumen Festival, which celebrates visual arts, ice, and of course music. Tickets for tonight’s event were said to have costed anywhere between $50-100, at different points leading up to the show.

Scott himself took to Twitter to apologise for any confusion, as he himself was under the impression that the sold-out event was a club event, in which rappers usually perform only a handful of songs (sometimes half-assed, at that), as opposed to a full fledged concert experience:

A similar performance length occurred when Future played at the same club in October, as an afterparty for his concert with Drake during their “Summer Sixteen Tour”. Other rappers who have also played New City Gas include Waka Flocka Flame, and Riff Raff.

Could the venue have better prepared its audience for the show’s short length? Should the concert-goers receive refunds? Sound off in the comments and check out some angry fan reactions to Scott’s performance below:
