Earlier this year, it was revealed that the home of this year’s Red Bull Music Academy would be none other than Montreal, Quebec. The festival will see the city hosting an exciting collections from around the world from September 24th to October 28th , including events with the likes of Iggy Pop, Tiga, Bjork, Lunice, Chilly Gonzalez, and many more.
Today, the festival announced a second wave of artists set to perform at the festival. Here are just a few of the highlights from the reveal:
- Respective Techno and Hip-Hop legends Gary Chandler and Just Blaze will spin at Le Cinq on September 29th.
- Dâm-Funk, Invisible City Editions, Patrick Mocan, and friends will play at Atrium Le 1000 rolling skating rink on October 1st.
- Trap favourite Clams Casino and 2016 Academy participant Suicideyear join the already bonkers bill of Lunice, Jacques Greene, Machinedrum, and others for Turbo Crunk at the ever-chic Espace Reunion on October 15th.
- Drake and Kanye West collaborator Sampha will hit the stage at Theatre Fairmount for an intimate soiree on October 19th.
